Digest for June 2 - 8

Robot Martini digest July 2 - 8

That was a hot week for Baltimore and a busy week for RMG. Art and Design for our corperate identity continues, both on beta.robotmartini.com and off-line on our hard drives. The biggest downer is, unless you are a graphic designer (or the Angry Daughter of a Typesetter), you wont find the nuts and bolts of what we are working on very interesting ;-)

Here's a recap of the week

Floppies #20 Meta Rules or How to Handicap good players
A comic inspired by players who are too good no matter what you do to them
Monday: http://www.robotmartini.com/community/viewpost/648

Astrobrot #13 Vacation Edition
JD sends us his love from the west coast, sun glasses and all
Tuesday: http://www.robotmartini.com/community/viewpost/649

The Mister Taru Show "gets you over your mid-week hump"
this week Mr Taru awakes to find A) that he's hung over and B) that he's being video taped by idiots (again)

Blah Blah: Gavin rants about game design
5 examples of bad game design, curtesy of Atlus Games' Lunch Money

Wednesday After Hourse: the .357 Magnum!
despite rain and a bad bartender, Zeke and I manage to get a good drink this week
Thursday: http://www.robotmartini.com/community/viewpost/653

SideScroller: Jack Thompson Special Edition
Dan Greene raises a glass to an American hero. God bless the Florida state bar and supreme court. Also one of dan's better drawn pieces (not that they ever aren't well drawn, just really liked this one)

Game Night vs Lunch Money
Shawn, Sqwabuck, Dough, MechaShiva, and Gavin played lunch money on Thursday night's game night. Fun was had, though I think we were all burnt out by the last game. Videos and Photos can also be found on here on facebook
Sunday: http://www.robotmartini.com/community/viewpost/657

Also last week, the Robot Martini T-Shirts arrived. We did principle photography Saturday and Sunday, and if the heat doesn't blow out my computer we should have them up on the site early this week.

The shirts are 2 color silk screened on Hanes' "Tagless" shirts. They claim to be pre-shrunk, but with 100% cotton shirts, I am always a bit suspicious of shrinkage.

MechaShiva and I made Robot Heads too... but you wont get to see them until early next week ;-)

And last, but certainly not least: A big Happy birthday to Jess, wife of Web Guy

Cheers,
Gee out
